CHILDREN'S DANCE CONCERT @ DOUGLAS ANDERSON SCHOOL OF THE ARTS March 26 and March 27, 7:30pm. "The Dance Department of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts presents Children’s Concert, an annual showcase for dancers from Duval County arts magnet schools. In addition to students from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, the concert will feature young dancers from Pine Forest Elementary School and LaVilla School of the Arts. Tickets are $10 pre-sale for adults ($12 at the door); $6 pre-sale for students ($8 at the door). Call 904-390-2971 for information."

WALK A MILE IN THEIR SHOES A benefit for the Sulzbacher Center. March 28, 5k @ 9am, 1 mile walk @ 10am. 5k late registration March 22-28 $30, 1 mile $20 registration.
RIVER CELEBRATION DAY @ WALTER JONES HISTORICAL PARK "Part of Jax Parks Get Out There Weekend Come to Walter Jones Park and the Mandarin Museum to see some live bands, take a ride on the S.S. Marine Taxi with a donation, kayak down the river, learn how to create a River Friendly Yard, test the water of the river, and much, much more!" March 28 @ 11am-4pm.
