Preschool at the library with Ms. Jaime: February 25 @ 11am. Ages 3-5. Interactive storytime with a focus on early literacy skills.
Preschool Project with Ms. Marie: February 25 @ 11:45am. Ages 3-5. Learn and explore through art, with a focus on fine motor and pre-writing skills.

Much Ado About Books: Author Alex Flinn February 28. She will discuss her books 11am - 12pm, and facilitate a writer's workshop 2pm - 3:30pm.

NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY @ IHOP February 24, 7am - 10pm. One free short stack of buttermilk pancakes per guest. IHOP asks that guests consider making a donation to local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network, or other local charities.
AMERICAN MODERNISM FAMILY NIGHT @ THE CUMMER MUSEUM OF ART & GARDENS February 24 4pm - 9pm. Free admission. "Enjoy live music, art making and a variety of hands-on experiences inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe and Her Times: American Modernism from the Land Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston."

ARTS ON THE GO @ CARVILL COMMUNITY CENTER February 27 6pm - 8pm. "Parents & Kids come release your artistic talents. Come draw, paint, and make take-home crafts. Plus take a spin on the pottery wheel, or learn how to play the keyboards. Art instructors will be on hand to assist. And it`s all free. Refreshments will be available."
BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION @ MOSH February 28 11am-3pm. "Visitors will learn about the history of Jacksonville’s prominent African Americans through a variety of performances and presentations. Activities will include African folk tale storytelling, scavenger hunts, crafts, live performances by local choirs, and a Planetarium show about the Underground Railroad."

KIDS DRAWING @ NATIVE SUN Complete the drawing and bring it in to your local Native Sun for a free snack. Kids ages 12 and under, one entry per person, per month, through February 28.
